Practices are on Friday evenings from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. at Avenel Local Park.

Manager's Notes

1. Pregame batting practice is essential now that strikeouts are part of the game.  BP begins 45 minutes prior to each game and ends approximately 15 minutes prior to game time.  Those who do not take batting practice will be dropped to the bottom of the batting order.

2. Fielding lineups are written well in advance of game days.  We have 13 players * 13 positions * 6 innings per game = 1,014 possible lineup permutations for each game.  And of course not all players possess skills to play at every position.  In addition, everyone is required to play no fewer than two innings at infield positions in every game. It's complicated.

Last minute and unannounced absences affect EVERY player and force the coaches to redo their work on the fly, invariably to the detriment of the children in attendance.  Please inform us of expected absences no less than one week in advance for ALL PRACTICES and GAMES.
