September 21-23 Weekend Preview



After a fantastic season opener, the Blue Jays take to the field for practice on Friday and another exciting game on Sunday.  The kids in blue set a high bar when they last played the Astros (Mendelson), one that they hope to clear in the rematch.

5:40 Skills Stations (15 min 1st station, 10 min subsequent stations)
  1. Lateral grounders and covering base (1B/2B area) - Dominic, Peter, Clark
  2. Throw and catch fundamentals (RF) - Henry, Brody
  3. Catching line drives above chest (LF) - Niara, Evan, Noah
  4. Grounder technique (3B area) - Adam, Jacob, Milen
6:25 Machine Pitch Scrimmage (positions listed for 1st and 2nd innings, then rotate)
  • T1 - Niara (2B), Clark (SS), Peter (1B), Evan (3B), Brody (PH), Henry (DH)
  • T2 - Jacob (2B), Dominic (SS), Adam (3B), Milen (1B), Noah (PH), Henry (DH)
