Second half starts this Weekend

The Blue Jays will get back to practice this Saturday in preparation for Sunday's game with the Nationals.  Brian Ferguson will manage the team.

The plan is below.

Saturday, September 27
Avenel Local Park
10051 Oaklyn Drive, Potomac
5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Practice Plan

• Warm-ups
• Ground ball "Grassers"*
• BP and game simulation

*The high grass infield at NCC gave us some trouble last week.  Plays must be made more quickly when the surface is slow and bumpy.

Sunday, September 28

North Chevy Chase Park

4105 Jones Bridge Road, Chevy Chase

Arrive 12:30 p.m.*

*Everyone is encouraged to arrive at 12:00 noon for early batting practice.  Brian plans to use the game field and normal baseballs.  Our strikeout rate is alarming.  Two consistent hitters are out of the lineup.  Competing with the teams that remain on our schedule will be difficult if we strike out ten times per game.
