Blue Jays begin the Thaw!

The Blue Jays will get a jump on the spring season prior to the Ides of March!

Our first Spring Training session begins at 11:30 a.m. this Saturday, March 2, at Cabin John Middle School, 10701 Gainsborough Road, Potomac.  We chose this field because it is on high ground.  Hopefully, it will be dry.

The practice plan is below.

• Long toss
• 4-6-3, 6-4-3, 5-4-3
• Make 'em Stop!
• Batting practice

We'll play until approximately 2:00 p.m.  The Make 'em Stop! drill is priority, so we'll do that from noon until 1:00 p.m. when most players will be present.

Parents may either drop off or stay and play with us.  Please dress warmly.
